I ordered and paid for a dishwasher through Home Depot. They subcontracted the delivery and installation and haul away to this Company 'Home Delivery America'.

On the delivery date the driver showed up four hours after the window of time they scheduled the delivery for. (They told me they would deliver between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM), they arrived at 7:00 PM. They then stated after two minutes of being there that they could not install the dishwasher because the water valve was rusty, I informed them that even if this was true the water main valve could be shut off, they put me on the phone with the "manager", who was very rude and stated they could not do that, and made up a reason why - which was not true (someone else was able to install it with no issue a few days later). Further, at this point, I was very upset and this "manager" was excessively rude and hung up on me.

We were forced to pay an outside company $200 who had no installation issue four days later.

Monetary Loss: $200.
