Hone delivery of america *** Last week they cancelled on me. This week they call and say someone is here. jo one oa here. I tried to call home depot, they kept me on hold for 30 mins and then said they cant reach anyone and basically disnt do a thibg for me. If they dont deliver today, i will take my 5k and go spend it at lowes. *** home depot and *** home delivery of america.

How to blame customers

Delivered and installed new dishwasher, took old one out, but breaker would not turn off power, so main breaker was used to turn power off and new device into place. Test-run revealed that water is not pumped out to the drain, after more than one hour troubleshooting with manufacturer (Samsung) they gave up and told me the manufacturer service technician will take care. He arrived just an hour later, determined the device is hooked up to 220V and electronics are likely fried, apart from that warranty expired and he charged $142. Samsung declines any responsibility because of wrong installation and the installer says there shouldn't be a 220V in the kitchen. Smoke and smell by turning on a new dishwasher is apparently normal and the use of a meter before you hardwire a new appliance is a waste of time because at the end you can still blame the customer.

Pathetic, unreliable and rude...

Pathetic, ***, rude, unreliable and incompetent. Confirmed a delivery the night before for a washer and dryer install from Home Depot who like most companies outsources their work to a third party. Got a confirm call last night that they would be here between 2:30 - 6:30pm. Call me at 2pm the next day saying "Sorry, we ain't got no trucks, we gots to reschedule". Took the day off work for delivery....without a doubt a horrendously run operation. I have to use at least 100 words here so the words are: awful, bad, dumb, rude, unreliable, unresponsive, pathetic, should go out of business.

Refrigerator Shipping Review

Calling this company Home Delivery America is a disgrace to this beautiful country. Name this company Home Delivery Mexico and officially close down. I never thought buying a refrigerator would be this stressful. I would never deal with this *** bag company again and I advise anybody else not to use them.

The first time they came out, they tried to deliver a damaged refrigerator. When they came back the second time, they refused to deliver the appliances even after my wife told them that I would do the install (they fabricated an excuse) they left and took the appliances with them. They left without telling my wife and when we contacted their offices to come back, they were extremely disrespectful and inappropriate with my wife. They refused to come back. I am shocked that Home Depot still uses them, even after receiving so many complaints. Shame on you Home Depot and Home Delivery America!

Samsung Refrigerator Deliver

Very unprofessional. Delivered the Fridge with loy of compalaints and asking for help. Requested that we remove prtective covering as they had dirty hands. When we removed the covering and found a dent, ran out to call them bacl. Drove away saying call our manager or *** depot. Called their mamanger, who said sorri it is done all I can offer is damage allowance . We demanded replacement, asked us to call home depot. Home depot Manger was great after 45 mins of arguing she comitted these jerks to pick up the damaged fridge and replace with new one. Rude unprofessional liars work at this companr. If buying from home depot ask for alternate delivery if possible. If not dont trust anything the delivery person says. Do not sign any document untill tht appliance is given to you with all protective covering removed inside and out. Pleae be careful with these liars and avoid yourself a painful recovery process.

Absolutely not trustworthy delivery company - untrustworthy and disrespectful staff

I had a scheduled delivery of new washer and dryer purchased at Home Depot. Home Depot uses Home Delivery America (HDA) for their deliveries in Bergen County NJ area. For this delivery a plumber had to be present for the installation of the new units and so prior notice of arrival was essential. HDA could only give a very wide 4 hour time window in the afternoon only the day before the delivery. But I was assured, on more than one occasion, that the delivery team would phone me 20-30 minutes in advance of their arrival. This would give enough time for the plumber, who was on a standby for the entire afternoon, to arrive at the house and make oversee the installation. The delivery team arrived unannounced (no prior phone call) at the house and said they were leaving right away because preparations for installation had not been made. Since they had not given prior notice of their arrival, as promised, I implored them to wait for 5 minutes so the plumber could make his way over. Instead they started to second guess that preparations for the installation would take too much time, without even bothering to go into the house to inspect the situation! As they started to get into their truck and leave, the plumber arrived (literally after 5 minutes). The delivery team however, did not bother to get out of their truck and just drove away. I then called HDA to complain and was told preparations were not ready for installation and would take a long time. I passed the phone to the plumber, who by then had taken the necessary steps to prepare for the installation (as expected it took him maximum 10 minutes to do so). The HDA person on other end then paused and after some more pleading I was told that the delivery team would come back to the house again, after having completed another delivery. And then we waited. And waited. There being no sign of the delivery team, I again called HDA to inquire about their expected arrival time. I was informed that there would be no more delivery that day and that a request for rescheduled redelivery had been placed for epithet following week. A request by whom? I inquired. By you, I was told. I explained that this was not acceptable, that I had been promised that 1) the delivery team would I give advance notice before arrival 2) that they would come back to the house later the same day. I was asked with whom I had spoken to and replied that I did not take the name. When I asked for the name of the person with I was speaking to I was told "Jimmy". Asking for the full name,the person answered "I'm not going to give that to you". Do you represent the company Home Delivery of America, I asked? "Sort of" was the answer. I was subsequently connected to a "manager", who made it clear that the delivery team would not be coming back that day and that a request for re delivery had already been out into the system. Not a word of apology. Instead in a very arrogant and disrespectful tone blaming ME for the whole situation! He then hung up on me. I called the installation manager at Home Depot who promised to get in touch with HDA and have them call me back. That phone call never came. By then the office of Home Delivery America was closed. It's clear to me that Home Delivery America is a sham. Very arrogant and unfriendly people, from the delivery team to managing level, with a shocking absence of service mindedness. The company also carries great reputational risk for Home Depot, who should definitely be looking for another delivery company for their customers!

Terrible delivery agency

I had a dishwasher scheduled for delivery to my mother for her birthday. Was given the unfair 12:30 to 4:30 delivery time frame so I took day off from work. Delivery team was not there at 4:45 so I called Home Depot. They said delivery team has been late on their deliveries all day. They also informed me delivery agency was closed for the day so they could not track down team. Got a call from Home Delivery America( the agency who allegedly closed) informing me there was an injury which just happened to his delivery guys. When I inquired about the team being late all day he did not have an answer. He told me there was no supervisor at the agency and I would have to contact Home Depot. He then hung up the phone on me while I was still speaking to him. Third experience with this delivery agency( two I was told they can't install and this one had to be canceled). Worst delivery agency ever. Off to lowes for better service.

Really unprofessional delivery service

delivery was set up last week for delivery today the fifth of september with only a delivery window of 9:30am-3:30pm for my condominium had contacted Home delivery of america after home depot informed me that they don't make the delivery. I was instructed to call dispatch supervisor (Joseph) at start time of delivery window 1pm (I called at 1:44pm) was told "within an hour" two hours later an automated call from home depot informed me that deliver would be within 30 mins 40 mins later a one of the delivery people called saying they were "on the way only 22 blocks and will be there in 5 minutes. In Friday NYC traffic! yea right! say 20 min! window of delivery time has been expired don't bother! called up Joseph and told him to cancel as they have caused delay and have lied on several occasion about their delivery schedule and get the song and dance that that they are busy and some jobs take longer than others. I told him to cancel the delivery and then called home depot and requested a refund as home depot only uses that company for delivery and I will not deal with those people again. Home depot was apologetic and refunded my money right away.

Did not supply vital requested information

Bought a new refrigerator at Home Depot... scheduled delivery for the following Tuesday, hubby took the day off...

as I live in a condo development, contacted the office to verify needs (fees for padding - and an "insurance certificate). Called delivery company-Home Delivery America... and after listening to multiple touch menus, arrived at "delivery time"... at this time I learned our window was 3:30-7:30P<...

there was a sub-menu item "for those who need an insurance certificate" ... pushed this... again provided all delivery information... and asked to have certificate faxed to condo association.

On Tuesday-day of delivery- called condo office to find out if certificate had been received... no... called HDA , again waded through menus til I eventually reached a live person... again requested insurance certificate...

and was told it will be faxed in 10 minutes. Waited 1/2 hr -hubby went down to pay the fee for padding... still no certificate... while in condo office he called delivery service AGAIN...

and eventually received FORMS to REQUEST INSURANCE Certificate... He called again... and for the first time in approximately FIVE contacts with HDA... was told that it takes 24-48 hours to process this request...

AT NO TIME IN PREVIOUS CALLS HAD THIS BEEN MENTIONED!!!

Needless to say we have had to reschedule delivery and hubby will need to take another day off work!!! I will be advising Home Depot about this...and notice that there are no positive reviews here whatsoever.

Failed delivery

This is my e-mail to their people in charge: Hello. I don't know if this e-mail will even be looked at by somebody in charge, considering the way my family and I was treated by one of your employees. We were expecting a delivery of a new fridge which we have purchased from Home Depot. The night prior we got an automated call confirming that the delivery will take place today between 1-5pm EST. At the time of the purchase we stressed the point that since we live in a coop, we have to follow their rules and the delivery cutoff time is 5pm, no exceptions. We also had the building maintenance put padding on the elevator, scheduled an appointment with a professional who was supposed to connect water to the fridge and my wife and I both had to take a day off. Today at 4:45pm I called your company trying to find out what's going on and your dispatcher has treated me with a great deal of disrespect, talked down to me like I was a nobody and didn't offer to accommodate us in no shape or form. Than he hang up the phone on me, TWICE! He totally refused to let me speak with somebody in charge and also refused to give me his name. All I got was that your delivery people had 3 more stops before ours. REALLY? As a customer I did not do anything wrong and don't deserve this type of treatment. We paid for the product, we have given specific instructions and your company agreed to it. Good luck with your business and business reviews.

delivery times are ESTIMATES anyone with a 1st grade education knows this. stop your incessant whining and get off your high horse. move on with your life and stay off these forums we'll all be better off for it.

Worst Dispatch Manager Camelio Demello

After an Initially scheduled deliver on the 17th of sept 2013 this month they installed a defective Fridge in my home and then called my back to replace it on 20th Sept 2013. When the guys arrived 2 hrs late after getting lost. They were not ready to install the refregerator as it was difficult to carry one flight of stairs. And their manager Camelio Demello aslo supported them calling it a safety concern for his employees. They were a bunch of lazy bone who didnt want to work. This is truly unprofessional and also affects The Home Depot brand name in a very bad way. Hopefully Home Depot get notice of this and acts accordingly by not using such cheap companies to represent their Brand name.

Worst ever - How they are in business is a mystery

I ordered and paid for a dishwasher through Home Depot. They subcontracted the delivery and installation and haul away to this Company 'Home Delivery America'. On the delivery date the driver showed up four hours after the window of time they scheduled the delivery for. (They told me they would deliver between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM), they arrived at 7:00 PM. They then stated after two minutes of being there that they could not install the dishwasher because the water valve was rusty, I informed them that even if this was true the water main valve could be shut off, they put me on the phone with the "manager", who was very rude and stated they could not do that, and made up a reason why - which was not true (someone else was able to install it with no issue a few days later). Further, at this point, I was very upset and this "manager" was excessively rude and hung up on me. We were forced to pay an outside company $200 who had no installation issue four days later.

Awful women on phones

There are two women, Ruthie and Alisha, they are just awful. Why would anyone give such rude people a job working on the phone? I called and got put on hold from one rude women and connected with an even ruder women. They won't let me put this comment in unless I write 100 words, so, those two women were really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really really, really rude, rude, rude, rude, rude, rude, rude, rude. Unpleasant Woman in Dispatch Office

Had to call the Elmwood Park dispatch office to find out about my order (when, where, etc.)Spoke with an Alisha in the Elmwood Park, NJ dispatch office. I was as pleasant as a peach, but this girl was rude, unpleasant, she put me on hold so many times I was ready to hang up and call Bob's and cancel my order outright. Uninformed, seemingly uneducated and ignorant to the point of stupidity. She should not be dealing on the telephone with the general public in any way. I hope that no other unsuspecting person out there has the unpleasant displeasure of getting her on the phone if they need to call that office.
